Ask yourself three questions, where do you go to find out…1. How can woman-owned businesses make Federal representatives jobs easier?
2. How can Federal representatives assist small businesses with their growth?
3. How can Federal representatives and woman-owned businesses work as team in addressing and communicating advocacy issues and legislation?
The women’s Advocacy Group was formed a number of years ago to educate Federal representatives and woman-owned businesses to better understand each other’s needs.
After a year hiatus, the group was brought together again through the Small Business Administration because of the demand on both sides. 6 government agencies and 3 industry representatives were present for the initial kick-off meeting last week and already the momentum is growing.
